John Wilson, President and Chief Executive Officer
John Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and physics from Loughborough University of Technology and an MBA from the Polytechnic of Central London, both located in the UK. His broad range of experience has included engineering, marketing, manufacturing, sales and executive management positions throughout the world.

Eric Hoffman, Founder
Eric Hoffman is a pioneer in the laser scanning field, with more than 24 years experience and several key patents. He holds a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

David Stoll, Chief Financial Officer
David Stoll has thirteen years of experience in corporate financial management. The last eight years have been focused on positions with direct influence or control on operations and finance. For the last four years, corporate officer experience has been gained through positions at the CFO level during which time all aspects of corporate financial governance were under direct supervision.

Tad Balinger, Vice President of Sales
Tad Balinger holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from Warsaw Technical University in Warsaw and has also completed sales management training at the Columbia University, Executive Education program in New York. He has held a number of senior-level international sales and management positions around the world.

James McGill, Vice President of Marketing and Business Operations
James McGill focuses on education and awareness of the significant value that clients can realize by eliminating project defects using laser scanning. Mr. McGill holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Louisville and an Executive MBA from the joint program offered by the Universities of Calgary and Alberta.

Fred Persi, Vice President of Products and Technology
For more than a decade, Fred Persi has developed advanced 3-dimensional laser scanning technology and solutions that put reality on our client’s desktops and help them reduce project time and cost. Dr. Persi holds a Ph.D. and MA in physics from Princeton University and BS degrees in mathematics and physics from Penn State University.

Matt Gastgeb, Director of Operations
Matt Gastgeb is responsible for ensuring that Quantapoint is able to quickly and efficiently execute laser scanning and other projects. He has more than a decade of experience in existing conditions documentation technology and services and has helped Quantapoint in the developing of our high standards for safety, quality and customer service.
